CAMBRIDGE, MA, September 27, 2023 - GivingData, a leading provider of grants management software for family and independent foundations, has named Roberto Cremonini its first Chief Innovation Officer. The announcement was made at the company’s annual GDConnect conference in Scottsdale, Arizona, which brings together more than a hundred grantmakers from foundations across the U.S.
In this new role, Mr. Cremonini will work across GivingData’s product and go-to-market functions in developing products and services to support and scale the growth of the company.

Mr. Cremonini joined GivingData as a senior partner in 2014 and in recent years led the company’s business development efforts. He has also overseen GivingData’s annual conference, GDConnect, a three-day event designed to foster knowledge-sharing and showcase innovative applications of the company’s growing suite of tools for grantmakers. Prior to joining GivingData, Cremonini was Chief Knowledge and Learning Officer for the Boston-based Barr Foundation, where he oversaw the implementation of information technology to support foundation strategy, evaluation, and communication.
